A propos Fabien Ansault

Fabien Ansault Architecte d’intérieur et designer graphiste, diplômé en Arts Appliqués de l’ Ecole Duperré de Paris. Peintre, dessinateur et sculpteur et plasticien, il travaille en Côte d’Or, à Chamesson, où il est installé depuis 2002. Il crée en 2005 l’association « les z’uns possible » qui organise et présente les travaux d’artistes de différentes familles d’arts dans son atelier/galerie. Collectionneur d’objets et de reliques, il compose son cabinet de curiosités autour de crânes d’animaux, de vieux outils et objets hétéroclites. Depuis 2007, il assemble et compose ses « totems ». Un travail singulier, évolutif, qui mélange les matières et matériaux pour produire des reliquaires, sculptures, totems, dans un esprit baroque et avec une touche d’humour. Série de peintures de natures mortes d’animaux avant leur consommation par l’homme ainsi que des vanités (techniques mixtes photos-peinture) et autres réflexions en peinture et en dessin sur une deuxième vie à donner aux objets et aux choses mortes (un continuum dans son œuvre). Travail sur des installations à thème (cf. « la boucherie humaine »).
